Raising the critical role of nursing professionals, working collectively and reducing the differences of knowledge among countries are the main challenges for the renewal of primary care, said Her Royal Highness Princess Muna Al-Hussein of Jordan who was the special guest invited for the Primary Health Care Conference held in São Paulo between July 28^th and 30^th. The Princess was responsible for the conference opening “The improvement of health care goes inevitably through the development of human resources, mainly nursing and midwifery ones, in a world where more than a hundred million people still live below the poverty line”, said the nursing matron who, according to the WHO representatives, has revolutionized the health area in her country.
